Be honest

Regardless of any circumstances do not embellish your CV, misdescribing your job experience or concealing any information. Complete and accurate information is an indispensible condition of successful search.

Be flexible

Do your best to attend all scheduled appointments and interviews despite your tight timetable.

Be proactive

Conduct a comprehensive research, i.e. Due Diligence of the Client’s company. Weigh the goals set for a vacant position against your capacity and aspirations. Make up your mind jointly with a consultant to what extent the Client is attractive to you as an employer. If any doubts arise, use your time for achieving other goals.

Prepare for the interview

If you decide to go to the interview you should get well prepared. What you need is to be the one the employer prefers to hire. Then you will be able to take your final decision whether such career promotion matches your goals.

Be genuine

Search takes a lot of time and you are one of a few competent and qualified candidates. Please, do not mislead consultants saying you are holding talks only with them, if in fact, you are considering job offers from other companies as well.

Stockdale Paradox

You must retain faith that you will prevail in the end, regardless of the difficulties,

and at the same time,

you must confront the most brutal facts of your current reality, whatever they might be.
